EXHIBITION
Warm invitation to the Opening of the Exhibition I CHOOSE THE BEAR happening Monday, 8th of December, 6 - 8 pm.
I Choose The Bear is a series of 4 photographs by artists Milena Wojhan, Veronika Günther and Claudia Holzinger created specifically for the window display of Lost Weekend meets Young Art in Munich.
The project was initiated by curator Jaemin Lee, who proposed “Love” as the conceptual framework for the current LWMYA showcases.
Inspired by a TikTok survey asking women whether they would rather encounter a man or a bear when alone in the woods—most choose the bear—Wojhan and Holzinger developed the idea for I choose the Bear. Instead of depicting the encounter itself, they envisioned a visual narrative of a shared life between woman and bear after this hypothetical meeting. The story highlights the societal expectations placed on women: the bear is not only tamed but educated and made socially acceptable.
Impressed by Veronika Günther’s drawings and their transformation into two-dimensional cardboard costumes, Milena and Claudia invited her to collaborate. Through her costume work, the characters of the woman and the bear gain their distinctive visual form.
The resulting collaboration is a photographic series that blends contemporary visual language, feminist perspectives, and performative costume design.

NEWEST GREAT PHOTOBOOK
LOVE
This black-and-white volume brings together international artists who use the lens as a site of tenderness, power, loss, desire, and care. From staged intimacy to spontaneous encounters, from resistance to romanticism, these works show that love is not one image, but many. The third publication by femxphotographers.org, this book continues their feminist and collective approach to photographic discourse and the disruption of the male gaze. Including poetry and text, it expands the field of visual storytelling to embrace the personal and political, the utopian and the everyday.femxphotographers.org is an international collective of womxn and non-binary photographers.
Through exhibitions and books, they challenge dominant narratives in photography and advocate for solidarity, visibility, and feminist discourse.
Thank you to all fellow members of the collective for your dedication, great works and all your effort in making this book happen and having me as a part of your supportive network.
Thank you to all Guest Artists, for your stunning images and immense trust you when sending HiRes TIFFs to complete strangers, believing in the idea of this book.
Thank you to my dad, Chris Kipp, my mom and Sophia Süssmilch: For working with me and giving me permission to have our collaborations printed in this book.

EXHIBITION
Happy to be part of this group show with HOLZINGERurbat curated by Milena Mercer and Thorsten Alexander Kasper at Kommunale Galerie Alte Schule Adlershof Berlin.

MAGAZINE
I had the great opportunity to create the visuals for the new issue of the magazine of Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften about the present and future of the Bavarian school system.
School is hard, at least it was for me - full of pressure, norms and coolness, insecurities and fear which led to the thing, that I was happy to leave it and never wanted to go back. Thanks to my dear friend Fabian Aigner, who is now arts and sports teacher at Gymnasium Dorfen, the school we graduated from together in 2006, I could shoot the pictures in my old school building. Reconciling is a process - but that grown up Claudia posing in morphsuits, biting in rulers and dressing in her old exercise books helped a lot.
Thank you to Studio Umlaut, which is Friederike Giirst and Christine Rampl, for giving me this opportunity. Thank you to Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften for your trust and kindness.
Thank you to Fabian Aigner for helping me take the pictures and giving me the opportunity to render my school sports memories by teaching me the laylap in basketball.
Thank you to his dad and former teacher Peter Aigner and my friend Doominik Thalmeier for modeling so perfectly in morphsuits.
Thank you to Raphael Unger for 3D- printing a stack of books and an apple or me.
Thank you to Johanna Marousek for helping me create the Chess-image and lending me her shoes.
Thank you to Wolfgang Lanzinger, deputy head of Gymnasium Dorfen, for being so open and supporting in creating this series.
