I cannot believe, that this is happening but - hopefully - it is:
Please feel warmly invited to my Soloshow
OPENING: Friday, 08.12. / 6 - 9 pm
EXHIBITION: Saturday, 09.12. + Sunday, 10.12. / 12 - 6 pm
I am beyond excited and writing this, I cannot believe that my 5,5 months travelling the US will soon come to an end and that this end is marked with a show in a city I often times had the feeling, it's just existing in television or art books.
Thank you to Johanna Strobel for inviting me to show my works in your space - this is really big for me, not only bigapple-big, but lifelongdreamcomingtrue-big.
Thank you a lot to Graem Whyte and Faina Lerman, for making my stay at Popps Packing Residency so great the last month, providing me the space and time to create costumes and stage the photographs, that will be exhibited.
And a big big Thank you to my fellow artist in resident Kelly Agius, for her time, patience and advice in helping me take the photographs. Thank you also to neighbour Maya Davis for such a warm and kind overall support and providing me with my first Thanksgiving-plate ever!
I would love to see you at my show and soon again back in Germany and Austria!
I am very happy to be part of the exhibition
HIGH FIVE -
The collection in motion
at the Kunstpalais Erlangen at the moment.
Thank you for showing my work "Helpless when she smiles" as part of the current exhibition of the collection.
Photographs, prints, video works, and installations from the Municipal Collection Erlangen are shown in constant changing combinations: the concept of this collection exhibition is designed to move. Works are added, exchanged, regrouped, and individual artists of the collection are presented more intensively in temporary mini-solo shows. A collection exhibition to get to know, to fall in love with, and to rediscover again and again.

THE BODY ISSUE
is out now and can be ordered
Claudia Holzinger works intuitively and between disciplines to create expansive installations, in which photography always tells the main narrative.
Examining herself through the social mirror, she hopes to create something positive through a second reflection. She defines humor as an important means of creating access to a deeper, often painful truth in her work. Through radical self-reflection, she deals with body politics, collective memory, desired identity, fan culture, moral hygiene and the dangers of positive prejudices.
HOLZINGERURBAT is a modern company from the event industry (trivial entertainment).
The offer mainly refers to hyperrealistic services. These include e.g. the planning and organization of a company party of a non-existent, but quite profitable, operation in a state institution, as well as the documentation and marketing of the presence in the filtering bubbles of others.
The artists Claudia Holzinger and Lilly Urbat work around the clock in their creative biographies to increase their own selves. Through a solid personal commitment, the use of the latest imagery and their many years of experience, HOLZINGERURBAT always offers productive solutions for the interpretation of reality according to the latest standards and the best of our knowledge and belief.
